We respect your privacy, the information we receive from our customers, and prospective customers, is for our use only. We will not sell, rent, distribute or make available any of your personal information. We will only contact you in regards to your transaction either by email or telephone.
Customer Service
Customers are our lifeline here at The Beaufort Candle Company®. We will do everything we can
to maintain a healthy relationship with our customers. Should you experience any problems, or have
questions or ideas on how to make your on-line shopping experience more efficient and enjoyable,
please do not hesitate to call or email us. We will respond as soon as we can to address your concerns
or learn more about your suggestions.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. You can contact us by e-mail or by phone, referencing the order in question. We recommend calling us right away to cancel an order. We can cancel most orders up until it has been processed prior to shipping. Our usual processing time for most in stock items may only be a few hours, so the sooner you contact us, the more likely we’ll be able to cancel the order before it ships to you.
Please note: We will e-mail you a confirmation that your order has been cancelled or we will verbally confirm the cancellation in the case of a phone cancellation. If you do not get this confirmation, your order may still be processed.
There will be a 15% re-stocking fee associated with all canceled orders.
Security
We want you to feel safe and secure when shopping at our on-line store. All sensitive and credit card
information is transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Full credit card information
is not transmitted in our email correspondence with you to ensure the privacy and security of your
order.
Payment Methods
The Beaufort Candle Company® website accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
Debit cards are acceptable if they are imprinted with either a Master Card or Visa logo.
Refunds/Returns
If you are not satisfied with your Beaufort Candle Company purchase of a product, please call 1-433-482-9656 or e-mail us within 14 calendar days of the receipt of the product(s). If the item is returnable and you send it back to us unopened in the original box, The Beaufort Candle Company will offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. You must return the product to The Beaufort Candle Company within 14 calendar days of your notification of desire to return. The Beaufort Candle Company will assess a 15% restocking fee on returns.
We do not accept returns on our candles if you do not like the scent or color.
Breakage
You have 24 hours from the time your package is dropped off on your doorstep to make any claims
regarding breakage and melting.
Shipping
Getting your order to the destination you specify as quickly as possible is our top priority.
If you create an account when ordering, you can check the status
and ship date of your order at anytime by logging into your account on our website. If you have
any questions regarding product availability please contact us.
We cannot ship via UPS to a Post Office Box. United Parcel Service (UPS) provides standard shipping
service. We ship in-stock purchases within three days of receipt of order. Your items should arrive
at their destination within 5-7 business days from date of shipment unless otherwise requested upon
checkout. Orders shipped via UPS can be tracked online using the tracking code provided in your
order confirmation statement.
If shipping to an apartment please remember to add the apartment number. If you need Saturday
delivery, please call us at 443-482-9656 to place your order. At this time we are only able to ship
to the United States.
Due to the delicate nature of our soy wax products, we will not ship candles on Thursdays and
Fridays during the hot summer months and to select locations on Wednesdays when “Standard Ground”
is selected. We want your products to arrive in the best possible condition for you and we wouldn’t
want your candles sitting in a hot truck over the weekend. Even though UPS shipments are insured,
UPS will not reimburse for melted candles so The Beaufort Candle Company® cannot be held liable
for melted candles. Please order at your own risk or choose expedited air services. If you have any
questions about our shipping schedule, please contact us by phone or email. All products are
shipped from Maryland.
If you need to expedite your order, send an email to contactus@beaufortcandles.com. Orders placed
for in-stock items before 12 P.M. (EST) may be shipped via UPS overnight service upon your request.
UPS shipping rates are determined automatically online by the weight of your order and your Ship To
location.
Backordered Items
We do our best to keep a full inventory selection and a current website. However, if an item is out
of stock due to high demand, we will email you with the expected ship date. Please contact us
immediately if you would like to cancel or change your order. If you register with us when you
place your order, you can check the
status of your order at any time by logging into your account on our website.
